You can change your major, minor or adviser at any time.
It's not uncommon for students to change their majors while attending Morris. To change your major, complete the Major/Minor Change Form and submit it online or print a copy and return it to the Office of Advising located on the second floor of Briggs Library. Changes will be reflected after overnight system updates.
Prior to your first semester at Morris, you are asked to identify which majors interest you the most. This choice (including “undecided” or area of concentration) is entered into your record and used to generate Academic Progress Audit System (APAS)* reports. The Office of Advising staff will assign you an adviser with expertise in your area of interest.
To make a change, students will need to fill out an Adviser Change Form to have the adviser assignment on record. Changes will be reflected after overnight system updates.
*APAS is the University’s degree audit system. It helps you and your adviser keep track of how your credits count toward the Morris degree.
